If you've read my blog for any amount of time, you may already be aware that I love Bobbi Brown cosmetics. Bobbi products have made up a large proportion of my makeup collection for years - be it lipsticks, foundation, mascara and eyeshadows. I love following the BB Pros - Hannah Martin, Amy Conway and Aimee Morrison are my favourites - and keeping up with all the new releases. One of the recent releases is the Nude on Nude Eyeshadow Palette, coming in two variations, Rosy and Bronze. I love a good eyeshadow palette, and when I saw these, I knew I had to have one. After much deliberation, I opted for the Bronze Nude on Nude Eyeshadow Palette. It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of a bronze eyeshadow look, so it seemed like the safest option to ensure it gets the most use. And in the few weeks it has been in my collection, the most use is exactly what it's had. I'd definitely say that I've managed to get my money's worth out of it. I picked the Nude on Nude Palette up from Selfridge's in London, for ÂŁ While this is one of my more expensive palettes, you do end up with ten glorious bronze toned eyeshadows, a mix of mattes, shimmers and metallic eyeshadows in a variety of gorgeous shades. In the palette, you're provided with some versatile highlighting shades for both the brow bone and the inner corner, some neutral mattes for transition colours, darker ones for helping build up the intensity of the outer corner, then a range of sparkle and metallic shades to make your eye looks really pop. I've used this palette on a range of occasions, attempting a variety of different looks with it. I've tried going for gold using the shimmers and metallics on a night out. I've gone for subtle smokey, using the Black Chocolate shadow as a liner. And it was a godsend while I was away with Stephen for a few days - providing the ideal selection of shades for both a casual daytime look, and some shades to amp it up for the evening. I love all the shadows in this palette. You know when you sometimes buy a palette and there are one or two shades that just aren't you cup of tea? Well, this palette doesn't have any of those in my opinion. They're all usable, and fit with the aesthetic of the palette. I don't shy away from any of them - and I'm not exactly the most adventurous makeup wearer, as I'm sure you may have gathered by now from previous posts and my Instagram. Bone, Golden Glow, Frappe, Pink Copper, Burnt Amber (bottom - top) Buff, Copper Chocolate, Chocolate Truffle, Milk Chocolate, Black Chocolate (bottom - top) I do, however, have a go-to look. I start with Bone all over the lid, to create an even base, before adding Buff into my crease. I then layer Frappe on top of this with a fluffy crease brush, before adding Milk Chocolate to the outer part of my eye using a more precise brush. Once I'm happy with the matte colours on my eye, I then turn to the sparkle shades. I tend to add either Burnt Amber or Pink Copper to the rest of my lid. Add a bit of Golden Glow to my inner corner, and run some Frappe and a little Milk Chocolate to my lower lash line and I'm good to go. Bobbi Brown Nude On Nude Palette in Bronze, paired with Huda Beauty Liquid Lip in Bombshell Overall, I'm really happy with this palette. For the price, I think it's really reasonable. Working out at ÂŁ a shadow, for how easy they blend and the pigmentation, you really can't complain. It's wearable for the daytime, but with the colour options there to amp it up for the nighttime.
